Our Services

The Faculty of Health Sciences Human Resources Services (FHS HR) supports over 990 full-time faculty members, 3,000 staff, 240 fellows/scholars and 3,400 part-time faculty, who are dispersed amongst the schools, departments, institutes and programs throughout the Faculty in locations across Hamilton and Ontario. As leaders and business partners committed to providing and promoting excellence in human resources within the faculty, FHS HR works directly with staff, faculty, department chairs, vice-deans, directors and administrators on a broad range of HR matters and initiatives. FHS HR works in collaboration with central human resources services to foster an environment that is inclusive, diverse and engaging.

  • For inquiries related to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations/performance management, leaves/employee changes, human resources strategic support and terminations, please contact your HR strategic partner.
  • For inquiries related to employment letters, badges, time entry and attendance, benefits, Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) Applications, University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), HR processes, life change events, electronic forms, contract changes and general HR inquiries, please send us an email.
  • For services related to pension/retirement, payroll corrections, records of employment (ROEs), T4s/T4As and T2200s, please contact McMaster’s central human resources.
